Gigantic Jumpers

“Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, girls in big jumpers embellished… I’m smitten!”

I am beyond delighted that one of the A/W 17 trends is the oversized jumper. This is something that I, and i’m sure many others too, have been wearing for several seasons. For me it’s always been a default. Those days where you feel bloated, or just lacking in self-confidence…throw on an oversized jumper! When it’s yucky weather and you need comfort and warmth…just throw on an oversized jumper! Or even if pregnant through the A/W season and struggling to find clothes that look right…just throw on an oversized  jumper! Leggings, skinny jeans, leather/leatherette trousers…they all go. Knee high boots, ankle boots, trainers or wellies…they all go.

The shops stock a selection of oversized jumpers every season as part of basic collections. The difference this season however, is that they have become an actual statement fashion piece.  No longer does the oversized jumper have to be a plain, convenient cover-up. This seasons Gigantic jumpers are all singing, all dancing with bells, pom poms, fur and feathers and ribbons (literally)!

Take a look below at some of the selection of Gigantic jumpers available on our high streets at affordable prices this season…

Funtastic Fur:

Zara has has once again pulled off its quirky style by adding a bit of fur to many of their pieces this season. One of my fav’s is this sweatshirt. An absolute steal at £25.99, it’s fun, funky and super furry…IMG_1836
